From one rent bill to a schedule that keeps running
This page shows how the skill designs, checks and audits a recurring schedule, one level at a time. It starts with one rent bill on one date. It ends with the monthly check that each bill actually ran. The page quotes every rule from the skill and works every number in front of you.
Eight rules the whole skill runs on
Every level below applies one or more of these rules. The examples use one made-up company, Northbrook Trading, which keeps its books in US dollars on the accrual basis, with a calendar year. The run date is Thursday 29 October 2026. The skill designs the schedule and checks it. It never creates the template, never posts and never schedules anything. A person enters the specification.

Build a recurring schedule
Enter an amount, a start date and the rules, or load an example. The page runs the date and amount part of Steps 3 and 4 from references/method.md. It does not check your books. The page sends nothing anywhere.
Saturdays and Sundays are always non-business days here. The holiday switch adds the US federal holiday dates for 2027 and 2028 only, on the date itself and not on the observed day. The page rounds each new amount to the cent at each anniversary of the start date, and the increase compounds. A day that a month does not have rolls to the last day of that month. If a business-day roll would leave the month, the page rolls the other way for that row. The memo says so. Step 3 rolls back where a forward roll would cross a month end. The page also rolls a backward roll forward. That part is this page's choice. For period-end entries, the skill keeps the calendar month-end date. The Northbrook preset gives 7 rolls and a total of $207,060.00. We made up the second preset. It gives 12 rows and a total of $1,440.00, with no row skipped.

Where every fact on this page comes from
The rules are the skill's own. The facts below come from five outside sources. They are a US holiday list, an OpenStax textbook, a GAO audit guide, the FASB lease standard and a BLS page. MosoFin checked each one on 28 October 2026 from search results and did not open the pages. Follow the link for today's wording.
Not backed by an outside authority. The six stages, the Pending status, the NOT POSTED header and the six sheets are the skill's own. So are the 12- or 24-month horizon, the duplicate check and the run audit. MosoFin made up Northbrook Trading, its suppliers and every figure in the examples. The $8,500 rent comes from the skill's own read-back example. All five sources are US sources. Other countries have their own lease standards, holiday calendars and price indexes.
